Which AION 2 Pet to Get First: Early Targets by Level
A practical choice depends on your goal and available sources.
Quick answers
- Lowest recorded monster levels: Armadon (Lv. 10), Decomposed Lupyllini (Lv. 10), Drana Mutant (Lv. 10), Kalgolem (Lv. 10), Papis (Lv. 10), and Skyray (Lv. 10).
- Most named monster records: Agrint (13), Papis (13), Modified Karnif (12), Skyray (12), and Slink (11).
- Pick a pet whose recorded monsters are in a region you can reach now, and keep one alternate in the same region.
- Both lists are sorted from client records only; they do not show actual reachability, drop odds or pet strength.
For a first collection
Prefer a documented source in a region you can reach. A reliable next target is more useful than a speculative “best” pet with an unknown acquisition path. Filter first, then inspect individual details. For ordinary Global pets, owned effects come from ownership and upgrades. You do not need to ride this pet to benefit, so you can keep a favourite mount while building collection bonuses.
For collecting appearances
Use the original game-image link on a pet’s detail page to inspect its appearance. The atlas category symbol is a navigation aid, not a depiction of the pet. Confirm its name and source before planning a route.
For progression
Check the effect in your client and compare the required investment with your own goals. We do not publish a universal damage ranking without reproducible Global evidence. Use the tracker to see what remains and back it up before changing devices.
Make the choice answer a question
For appearance, compare the real portraits and the original-image links, then check whether the acquisition route is known. For a reachable first unlock, compare travel and access requirements. For a level-3 goal, compare the remaining souls for pets you already own. These shortlists can be different. Picking one favourite appearance does not require claiming it is the best combat option, and an easy first pet does not have to become your next max-level target.
Compare two candidates on the same basis
Write down each candidate’s current level, unused souls, accessible source and uncertainty. A target that needs fewer souls can still take longer if its route is unavailable to you. Conversely, a pet you encounter during normal play may fit your schedule even if its remaining count is larger. We do not have verified drop-rate or time-per-run data, so no card should be read as a guaranteed efficiency ranking. Use your own observations to refine the choice.
Treat special offers as a separate decision
A shop or event category does not establish an offer’s price, end date, eligibility or current stock. Check the official offer in the current client before spending money or currency. Two has no confirmed acquisition route in this catalogue; seeing its portrait is not evidence that it can be earned now. Keep it as a reference entry rather than a farming objective. Once a candidate has both a clear goal and an accessible source, save it in your collection plan and reassess after the session.
